The team from Frenn in Singapore, came to me with a mission to set up an interim brand that would get them off the ground and give them an established sense of self.
Their Neo bank app technology and offering was one of very few to reach the emerging markets of Africa. An opportunity to help more people access funds and transfer money internationally. They wanted something unique and friendly. Something that confidently talks directly to the unique nature of their clients.
They required a bold brand to differentiate themselves from other global Neo Banks and had the flexibility to grow with future product illustrations and localised photography relevant to their users. As the products and investments grew, so would the brand.
An extensive colour pallet was chosen to work with their UI and also for the 3 extra products that are to launch following the initial app launch. Working with with product team we were able to test and establish 3 complementary brand colours.
A brand book was designed and created to help their local team to roll out comms and also give freelancer designers some guidance for executing the design across multiple applications.
Copy and their specific marketing approach would be developed in Africa once a team was established.
A powerpoint template was also created for internal comms and external investment opportunities required to scale the business.
